Pokémon fans rejoice: the hit arcade game Pokkén Tournament that is making waves in Japan is coming to a console near you…and a lot sooner than expected. The Pokemon Company announced on Friday that the game would be coming to the Wii U worldwide in spring 2016. This announcement came during the second day of the Pokémon World Championships during the Pokkén Tournament invitational.

The game is a project developed by The Pokemon Company in collaboration with BANDAI NAMCO, the producers of the Tekken franchise. So far, the current playable characters include Charizard, Pikachu, Gardevoir, Machamp, Lucario, Gengar, Suivune, Weavile, and Blaziken. There are also a few support Pokemon, including Lapra, Snivy, Frogadier, and a few others.
