Namco Bandai announced the release date for the latest Assassination Classroom video game today, and the game will be out in March, if you live in Japan. The game, titled Ansatsu Kyoshitsu: Assassin Ikusei Keikaku!! (Assassination Classroom: Assassin Raising Project!!) will task the player with taking on the role of a student of 3-E class, where you’ll have to take on the daily school life at Kunugigaoka Junior High. That will include taking tests, in addition to trying to assassination Koro-sensei while training with Nagisa, going on missions with Karma, and mingling with the rest of the class.
According to ANN, the first run of the game will include codes for four exclusive 3DS themes as well as an additional cosmetic item for Koro-sensei inspired by Kankichi Ryotsu, the lead character of fellow Jump manga Kochikame. The game will retail for 5,700 Yen, or approximately $47 USD. You can check out the gallery for a couple more screenshots, which come via Famitsu.
We’ve previous covered the anime and manga for Assassination Classroom here at BentoByte, and I can safely say that we’re pretty damn excited. Whether or not we’ll see the game here in the United States remains to be seen, but in the meantime you can check out our review of the fifth volume of the manga. We liked it a lot.
Assassination Classroom: Assassin Raising Project!! will be available for the 3DS in Japan on March 24 of next year, and while the game has yet to receive a North American release date, we’ll update you if it does.Tweet
