Director Makoto Shinkai’s most recent film your name. (also known as Kimi no Na wa) has just broken some major records this year in Japan. Not only has it’s popularity pushed it into the one of the highest grossing films in Japan. As of now, the film has grossed over 10 billion Yen which makes it the highest grossing film in 2016.

This means that the film has sold relatively 850 Million in tickets which is the equivalent of 11,100,000,000 Yen as of the 25th of September. Which is damn impressive for an animated film. For people who want to see the film, it has been licensed by Funimation.
