At the end of a surprise live stream, Bethesda Softworks announced Fallout 76. Next to nothing is known about this Fallout, however it’s features vault dwellers from Vault 76 and there have been rumors that it’s an online game of sorts.

If Bethesda chooses to stick to Fallout lore, Vault 76 was a control vault of 500 people set to open up twenty years after the nukes fell. For reference, Fallout 3 took place 200 years after the nukes fell and Washington was an atomic mess, so a view of only 20 years afterwards should be…dire.

The details are limited at the moment, but we’re excited to see what Bethesda’s newest Fallout title has in store for us.
