Wagamama High Spec Anime Staff Announced

Today the staff was announced for the upcoming anime adaptation, Wagamama High Spec. Based on the adult visual novel by Madsoft, the anime series is expected to air during the April 2016 anime season. Kuromukuro Anime Broadcast Details Released

The official website for the upcoming anime, Kuromukuro, released new broadcasting details today. Kuromukuro, which will be directed by Tensai Okamura and animated by P.A. Works, will be airing during the Spring 2016 anime season in April. The series will air across several Japanese networks such as Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and other similar stations. Ace Attorney Anime to Start in April

Based upon the Nintendo game of the same name, the Ace Attorney anime is coming during the Spring 2016 anime season. According to twitter (shown below) and the official site, the series will make it’s debut on April 2nd. Mayoiga Anime Announced

According to the official site for the original anime Mayoiga, came the announcement that the anime will be airing on April 1st. This air date will be exclusive to the WOWOW channel before its debut on TBS and MBS on the 9th. Endride Anime Announced and Details Revealed

Today a website was opened for an original fantasy anime called Endride. Along with the opening of this website, came the announcement of the cast, crew, and that the series will have two cours. This means that this series will have 24 episodes and will be starting in April during the Spring 2016 anime season.  Both of the characters below in the new visual are original. Pan de Peace! Anime Slated for April

On Wednesday it was announced that the 4 panel manga, Pan de Peace! will be receiving an anime adaptation in April of 2016. According to the announcement, they will release the staffing and cast information on February 27th. Today, Crunchyroll announced that they will be simulcasting the upcoming season of Durarara!!, Durarara!! X2 The Third Arc. This current arc will (hopefully) conclude the Durarara!! X2 saga. Sentai Filmworks Licenses Norn9

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced their latest license acquisition, Norn9. Norn9, which is expected to air in January during the winter 2016 anime season, is based off of the Otome video game for PSP. The game originally debuted in 2013 and has since seen 4 games in total¹. The anime adaptation is set to air on the 7th and will be directed by Takao Abo and produced by Mitsutoshi Ogura. After the exciting news that the dark anime Berserk was returning, it was merely a matter of time before a preview was released. The folks over at Sentai Filmworks are at it again. This time around, they have acquired the rights to the popular anime Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories. The Yamishibai series transforms urban legends into a full and terrifying anime series. Along the same lines of a demented tale straight from the mind of Junji Ito, this anime has a way with conjuring up some demented and terrifying stories. Sentai Filmworks Licenses Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced in a press release that they have licensed the upcoming 2016 winter anime Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle. The series is based off of the original light novel written by Senri Akatsuki and illustrated by Kasuga Ayumu. The light novel series currently has seven volumes and started back in 2013. The anime itself is going to air on January 11th, and will be animated by studio Lerche. Mysterious Joker Season 3 To Air in April

Today, it was announced that the third season for the show Mysterious Joker will be returning in April of 2016. The anime is based off of the manga (of the same name) that is written by Hideyasu Takahashi. The manga series started in 2008 before receiving an anime adaptation in the Fall of 2014. The first two seasons can be caught on Crunchyroll under the name Joker. Newest D.Gray-man Is Going to Be A Continuation

In an Instagram post (shown below) the creator of the D.Gray-man series has announced that the upcoming series will be a continuation of the current anime. The writer of the manga, Katsura Hoshino, made the following statement (translated from the Instagram post below): Thanks to everyone who went to the D.Gray-man stage today. D.Gray-man Returns With A New Adaptation!

Today it was announced that there will be a whole new original series for the popular fantasy anime, D.Gray-man. According to the visuals and the trailer, the upcoming series will be airing sometime in 2016. It has been nearly 10 years since the series finished (as the show originally ended back in 2006), it will be good to see another original story/arc. New Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Series Hinted

Today, it was announced and hinted that the anime that will pierce the heavens, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, will be returning. In a tweet (shown at the bottom) from the Team Gurren project, it leads you to a site that has the following image. The direct translation of the text merely says “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Restart.” Other than the facebook and twitter links, not much else is there.
