Kuroko no Basket: Last Game Trailer Released [WATCH]

On the Kurosabe anime YouTube page came the very first preview of the upcoming addition in the Kuroko no Basket series, Kuroko no Basket: Final Game. This film is expected to air on March 18th, 2017. Prior to the basketball anime becoming incredibly popular amongst sports fans, it originally debuted in 2008 as a manga. The manga series ran until 2014, had 30 volumes in total, and is written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The anime itself did not debut until 2012 and only just recently ended with a grand total of 75 episodes (3 seasons). Sentai Filmworks Acquires Ajin: Demi-Human

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced that they have acquired the distribution rights for the hit Netflix series, Ajin: Demi-Human. This means that Sentai Filmworks will be bringing you Ajin: Demit-Human on DVD and Blu-Ray. So be on the lookout for the show to appear on shelves and across select digital media outlets as it will have exclusive extras that are only available with this release. That being said, it has yet to be mentioned whether this includes both seasons or merely season 1. Animated by Polygon Pictures, written by Gamon Sakurai, directed by Hiroyuki Seshita and Hiroaki Andō, Ajin: Demi-Human started as a manga back in 2012. Ariana Grande Joins the Cast of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

In a press release today it was revealed that Ariana Grande (of all people) will be joining the ranks of characters in the Final Fantasy installment, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. For those who have not heard of it before, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play mobile game that originally debuted (worldwide) in June of 2016.  Ariana herself has stated, “it is an honor for my Pixel Art character and my music to be included in the new “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius” game, a mainstay in the Japanese pop culture, which I absolutely adore.” As an added result, Ariana Grande’s song “Touch It” will be making an appearance in the game. New Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul Preview Released

Yesterday, a new preview for the upcoming second season of Rage of Bahamut (otherwise known as Shingeki no Bahamut) was released. It was also revealed that the new season, dubbed Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul, is expected to air in April of 2017. On the cover of the February copy of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine will reveal that there will be an anime adaptation of the hit manga, Welcome to the Ballroom.  Welcome to the Ballroom is a manga series illustrated and written by Tomo Takeuchi. Naruto Live-Action Movie Production Announced

In what will surely join the ranks of terrible anime to film adaptations (*cough* Dragonball: Evolution *cough*), it was announced that the production for the adaptation of Naruto has begun. At the stage event Jump Festa on Saturday the 17th came the confirmation that Michael Gracey (alongside Lionsgate studio and creator Masashi Kishimoto) will be heading the production for Naruto.  The public has yet to see a full length film come from Michael Gracey, as his current movie, The Greatest Showman, is not expected to be released until 2017. Today Funimation finally announced who they will be casting within the latest Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Super was created to mark the 30th anniversary of the Dragon Ball universe. Bokksu November 2016 Unboxing and Review

This week we received a new subscription box from a company we have yet to come across, Bokksu. Bokksu, which comes in a little orange box, has a bit of a different perspective on the whole Japanese subscription box fad. Umaru-chan Manga to Receive Original Anime Disc

According to the official twitter page for the manga Himouto! Umaru-chan the series will be receiving an original anime DVD included within the 10th compilation volume. This compilation volume will be available (in Japan) in January of 2017 and will run you around 3,400 yen. Live-Action Fullmetal Alchemist Trailer Is Here!

Today came the release of our first look into the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist trailer. Now not to point out how terrible the live-action Attack on Titan movie was, I am going to be pretty skeptical about how this movie will turn out. That being said, you can decide for yourself after watching the trailer below: The teaser shows actor Ryōsuke Yamada dressed up as the famous main character Edward Elric and tells us to expect the film in the winter of 2017.
