Attack on Titan Season 3 Confirmed

Today after the finale for the season of Attack on Titan came the announcement that season 3 is confirmed.  See the video below video for more information. Based on the video alone, we can tell that season 3 is going to contain a lot of content. We won’t spoil anything, but by mentioning the sea, that means they will get through two arcs during the duration of that season. Which could potentially imply that there will be 25 episodes. New Subtitled Trailer for Live Action Tokyo Ghoul Film

The official website for the upcoming live action adaptation to Sui Ishida’s Tokyo Ghoul has uploaded a new trailer for the film. Interestingly, the trailer is entirely subtitled in English so that fans of the series overseas can enjoy the trailer as well. Violet Evergarden to Premiere at Anime Expo

In an announcement made today by Anime Expo, the anime film Violet Evergarden will be making it’s world debut at the convention. On top of seeing the film, the convention is also offering a Q&A session with the director of the movie Taichi Ishidate (known for other work like Beyond the Boundary, Clannad, and Nichijou: My Ordinary Life). Dragon Ball Super Puzzle Game Announced

Yesterday, Toei Animation Inc. and SCRAP Entertainment, Inc. announced a Dragon Ball Super themed puzzle game that will be taking place at this year’s Anime Expo. The scavenger hunt will span across the entire Anime Expo event this year in Los Angeles, CA (July 1st – 4th). Obviously it will be themed after the hit anime series Dragon Ball Super and will have players solving puzzles in a story-based scavenger hunt. New Live-Action Fullmetal Alchemist Trailer Released

Today on the official website for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie came the release of a new trailer. This trailer gives us just a peek at the forbidden transmutation circle that notoriously sets the events of Fullmetal Alchemist into motion. Netflix Announces Death Note Release Date

Netflix has released the trailer for their adaptation of Death Note. Along with the trailer comes a release date of August 25. The trailer highlights Nat Wolff as Light Yagami Turner, as he discovers the titular notebook. Willem Dafoe makes a brief appearance as Ryuk, the mischievous shinigami with a penchant for apples. Reception to the trailer has been mixed. Many fans are questioning the direction of the film, which seems to be more action-focused than previous adaptations of the series. Live-Action Fullmetal Alchemist December 1st Date Revealed

Today, the official website for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie has announced the release date. The film will hit Japanese theaters on December first of this year. Alongside the release day announcement, the website also featured a new visual featuring Alphonse Elric that you can see below: So far the quality of work done on Alphonse seems pretty solid. However, with the trailer that was released earlier this year (included below), we aren’t sure how this will actually turn out. With luck, it won’t be another live-action Attack on Titan.


BLAME! Anime Air Date, Preview, and Visual Released

Today on the official BLAME! anime twitter account came two new interesting pieces of info; the first being a stellar looking main visual, and the second being the official release date. The anime is set to air (worldwide) on May 20th, 2017. This means that BLAME! will join the ever increasing ranks of anime featured on the Netflix streaming service. Kuroko no Basket: Last Game Trailer Released [WATCH]

On the Kurosabe anime YouTube page came the very first preview of the upcoming addition in the Kuroko no Basket series, Kuroko no Basket: Final Game. This film is expected to air on March 18th, 2017. Prior to the basketball anime becoming incredibly popular amongst sports fans, it originally debuted in 2008 as a manga. The manga series ran until 2014, had 30 volumes in total, and is written and illustrated by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. The anime itself did not debut until 2012 and only just recently ended with a grand total of 75 episodes (3 seasons). Sentai Filmworks Acquires Ajin: Demi-Human

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced that they have acquired the distribution rights for the hit Netflix series, Ajin: Demi-Human. This means that Sentai Filmworks will be bringing you Ajin: Demit-Human on DVD and Blu-Ray. So be on the lookout for the show to appear on shelves and across select digital media outlets as it will have exclusive extras that are only available with this release. That being said, it has yet to be mentioned whether this includes both seasons or merely season 1. Animated by Polygon Pictures, written by Gamon Sakurai, directed by Hiroyuki Seshita and Hiroaki Andō, Ajin: Demi-Human started as a manga back in 2012. Ariana Grande Joins the Cast of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

In a press release today it was revealed that Ariana Grande (of all people) will be joining the ranks of characters in the Final Fantasy installment, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. New Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul Preview Released

Yesterday, a new preview for the upcoming second season of Rage of Bahamut (otherwise known as Shingeki no Bahamut) was released. It was also revealed that the new season, dubbed Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul, is expected to air in April of 2017.
