BLAME! Anime Air Date, Preview, and Visual Released

Today on the official BLAME! anime twitter account came two new interesting pieces of info; the first being a stellar looking main visual, and the second being the official release date. The anime is set to air (worldwide) on May 20th, 2017. This means that BLAME! will join the ever increasing ranks of anime featured on the Netflix streaming service. Sentai Filmworks Acquires Ajin: Demi-Human

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced that they have acquired the distribution rights for the hit Netflix series, Ajin: Demi-Human. This means that Sentai Filmworks will be bringing you Ajin: Demit-Human on DVD and Blu-Ray. So be on the lookout for the show to appear on shelves and across select digital media outlets as it will have exclusive extras that are only available with this release. That being said, it has yet to be mentioned whether this includes both seasons or merely season 1. Animated by Polygon Pictures, written by Gamon Sakurai, directed by Hiroyuki Seshita and Hiroaki Andō, Ajin: Demi-Human started as a manga back in 2012. Sentai Filmworks Licenses Knights of Sidonia Season 2

Today, Sentai Filmworks announced their acquisition of the most recent season of the Knights of Sidonia series, Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet 9. The second season of the popular Netflix original anime aired in Japan during the Spring 2015 season prior to airing in the US during the Summer 2015 season. Based on the popular manga by Tsutomu Nihei (which just concluded this past year), it is animated by Polygon Pictures and directed by Kōbun Shizuno. With the license acquisition, this means that the series will soon be available on home video and through select digital outlets on Blu-ray and DVD. Ajin: Demi-Human Trilogy Gets Teaser, Staff List

Yesterday we reported on the reveal that Ajin: Demi-Human would be getting an anime adaptation in the form of a film trilogy. Now, the first teaser has hit the internet, along with a list of staff that will be working on the project. The teaser which was uploaded to YouTube by King Records earlier today features a few clips from the upcoming film adaptation, offering a glimpse of both Kei Nagai and his IBM, which looks pretty good animated as you’d probably expect. Knights of Sidonia Season 2 Streaming Next Month

Although it has already been airing currently in Japan, Knights of Sidonia will be making its return to the United States on Netflix a calendar year later. Knights of Sidonia season 2 will begin streaming on July 3rd according to a tweet from Netflix (shown below). The current season of the anime is available right now and is produced by Polygon Pictures. The show originally derived from the manga which made its debut back in April of 2009.
