Your Lie in April Episode 20 Review

Episode 20: Hand in Hand Well. That was hard to watch. I wasn’t too surprised by most of “Hand in Hand”, as most of the big events that took place in the episode were things we knew were coming. Really it was all Kaori’s incident at the hospital, something that has seemed inevitable for a long time but there was no way to really prepare to actually see it. Honestly, it was a bit hard to watch and I’ve been stressed about since I watched the episode. I’m biting my nails as I wait but let’s touch on the rest of the episode before diving further. Due to the intensity...

Sword Art Online II: Episode 18 Stream & Review

Episode 18: House in the Forest With the prior arc of  Sword Art Online coming to an end in the last episode, this episode was, of course, going to introduce the next one. Thankfully, this one will be centered around Asuna, meaning she will be way more involved than she has been in either of the first two arcs of this season. To start off, we got to experience something that we have been waiting all season for: a heartwarming moment between Asuna and Kirito. After a very heart warming (and in some cases couple puke worthy cuteness) moment of Asuna describing her feelings of Kirito and home, they all set out...

The Fruit of Grisaia ~Sanctuary Fellows~ Manga to End With the 4th Volume

The manga adaptation originally appeared in Mag Garden’s Comic Garden in the October 2014 issue. Here is a brief plot synopsis from MangaFox: “Mihama Academy – on the surface, a closed learning environment established to nurture students who find themselves at odds with the world around them; in actuality, an orchard-cum-prison built to preserve fruit that has fallen too far from its tree. Whatever the circumstances...

Tokyo Ghoul: Episode 10 Stream & Review

Episode 10: Aogiri This week’s episode was another (more) exciting story builder. Albeit, there wasn’t much real action (excluding the first two minutes and the beat down by Yakumo) there was at least a proper introduction of all the characters that will be involved later on. There were two unknown additions to the cast at the beginning with the destruction of the 11th ward dove headquarters, and a proper acknowledgment of Touka’s brother Ayato, Banjo, Yakumo, and the newest addition to the doves Juuzou. I’m just excited that we have a plethora of characters now. There is not a shroud of mystery revolving who will be introduced and when. It...

Tokyo Ghoul: Episode 8 Stream & Review

Episode 8: Circular We decided recently to skip to the most recent episode and catch up with the others later on. This way we do a review and stream as soon as we can on the most up-to-date episode! This week we had the showdown, the doves vs. Ken and Touka! It was rather exciting seeing Ken don his mask for the first time. For those of us who haven’t read the manga and have only seen the mask from cover and images, it looks badass in the show. Seeing Mado use Hinami’s parents as a weapon against her was equally interesting and screwed up. But now we know where...
