Persona 4 Dancing All Night Review

I’ve always loved the Persona franchise. The art has always been amazing, as well as the music. So I couldn’t have been happier when they mixed my favorite game with my favorite kind of game. The game combines an interesting story with a new type of rhythm based system. The gameplay is fairly standard and simple but as the difficulty increases, so does the amount of notes and how fast they appear. The system combines triangle, circle, and x, along with up, left, and down. Pretty straight forward, with the added exception of the blue circle and “fever” rings. Missing the rings won’t affect your note count or your score...

Details of the project, including what the project will be, have yet to be revealed but it’s not hard to speculate. Sega has collaborated with Crypton Future Media a number of Hatsune Miku games in the past, such as the Project DIVA series, so seeing another rhythm game based on the popular Vocaloid wouldn’t be too surprising. Additionally, the new project has been paired with a illustration contest. The project will be accepting submissions from fans, 200 of which will be displayed in the ending credits of the project....

Dark Souls Beaten By Player Using Only His Voice

While I’m a huge fan of every entry in the Souls series, Dark Souls will always hold a special place in my heart. Partly because it was the Souls game that really pulled me into the series and beat for the first time, but also I believe that it’s still the best Souls game there is. I’ve found Dark Souls to be more fun and challenging that it’s predecessor Demon’s Souls, as well as the entries that have followed, Dark Souls II and Bloodborne. With the Souls games being known for their difficulty, it’s only natural that some players would be interested in making an already intense experience drastically more so. Of all the players ramping up...

Persona 4 Dancing All Night Trailers Introduce Rise, Yu

The Persona series is adding yet another wacky addition to the family this fall, called Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and today Atlus has released two new character trailers for the game. Rather than be a traditional Persona game, Persona 4: Dancing All Night is more about dancing and music than anything else, at least where gameplay is concerned. It’s certainly a departure from the typical games, but when you can do fighting on top of RPGs, why not? For this batch we’ve got Rise and Yu. You can take a look at both characters in all of their funky dancing glory in the trailers below. Atlus describes the game:...
