It’s a time honored tradition for Blizzard to offer those that make the trek out to Anaheim every year for the annual Blizzcon a little something for their patronage. This year is special as it marks the first time you’ll receive an item for Heroes of the Storm. Does this mean a date will be announced for the release of Heroes of the Storm this year?
We’ll find out come November, but until then take a look at what you’re getting. Keep in mind these goodies aren’t exclusive to people that visit the convention, you can also get them by purchasing a Virtual Ticket for the low price of $49.99. It might sound like a lot now, but it’s nothing compared to when these things hit ebay.
World of Warcraft players can look forward to the newest con-exclusive Murloc pet, affectionately called Grommloc. It’s like a cuter, slightly less menacing version of Grommash Hellscream, the leader of the Warsong clan. There’s also a new card back for Hearthstone, two new portraits and a decal with a theme centered around Heroes of the storm available for use in Starcraft II, some special weapon transmogrifications inspired by the latest expansion pack for World of Warcraft, Warlords of Draenor, and finally a special mount and portrait for use in Heroes of the Storm.
Tickets for the actual convention are long sold out, but you can still buy a virtual ticket that will give you access to a live stream covering both days of the show including the closing ceremony which will surely feature a musician of some description that has yet to be announced. Blizzcon will take place in Anaheim, CA on November 7th and November 8th and those who are interested can learn more about or purchase a virtual ticket here.Tweet
