Yesterday morning, Grant Alexander, a character designer and sketch artist for Pixar, tweeted a photo of a video call with the team over at Studio Trigger. When asked if this confirmed a collaboration between the two studios, Alexander simply stated that he could neither confirm nor deny this speculation.
This is not the first time that Pixar and the staff of Trigger have been in contact. According to Alexander’s personal blog, they’ve met with Masahiko Otsuka, President and Co-Founder of Studio Trigger, on multiple occasions. A Q&A interview comprised of Trigger and Pixar artists can even be found on YouTube.
