In a day and age where everything is readily available in digital form, buying things in physical form doesn’t necessarily make a lot of sense. Why take up more space with something when you can own the same thing digitally? Because I still love getting my hands on things, that’s why. If you’re like me and still like to pick up physical copies of games, you might just be adding another title to that list.

The Rockman Classics Collection official site (If you’re not in the know, Mega Man is known as Rockman in Japan) has announced that the Mega Man Legacy Collection will be seeing a limited physical release in Japan. While there’s no word of the limited edition coming overseas, it seems doesn’t seem unreasonable to hope for it. The game will be released in Japan on February 26th, 2016 and is current being offered at a price of $80 USD.

I have to say that’s pretty steep for something you can pick up for $14.99 digitally.  But a limited physical edition has to come with extra content of course. The Mega Man Legacy Collection limited edition comes with a 2016 notebook/planner, bookmarks, a sticky note set and download codes for two different themes for the menu of the Nintendo 3DS. Those who purchase the game at the Capcom store will also receive one of six cover inserts.
