Almost 4 years and 229 chapters later, it seems that Nisekoi will finally be coming to an end. Yes you read that right, Nisekoi is Finally! coming to an end.


In this year’s 35th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it will be announced that Naoshi Komi’s romantic comedy manga Nisekoi will be having its “climax” chapter in the 36th issue of the magazine. The chapter will be 25 pages long and will feature a special color opening page. Now while “climax” chapter doesn’t necessarily mean it is going to the last chapter. Fans who have been keeping up with the series know that there isn’t much left of the story to tell. Especially considering last chapter huge reveal.

The 36th issue of the magazine will be shipping on August 8th .

The romantic comedy manga, Nisekoi, follows the story of high-schooler and yakuza family member Raku Ichijo, who is forced into a fake relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of a rival gang’s boss, and they must pretend to be in love so as to prevent their rival families from fighting. While acting out their romance, Raku realizes that Chitoge has a mysterious key from her past, which she can’t remember, and he has a pendant that can only be unlocked by his childhood sweetheart. To complicate matters, two more girls with keys also appear.

Nisekoi was first published as a one-shot manga in Shueisha’s seasonal Jump NEXT! magazine before being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Since November 26, 2012, Nisekoi has been published in English in Viz Media’s digital magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump.
