Through the Attic Meeting of Cafe Leblanc event that Atlus held last weekend in honor of Persona 5, came the announcement that the hit game will be adapted into an anime. The anime will be called Persona 5 the Animation – the Day Breakers – and will be animated by Studio A-1. On top of the protagonist being voiced by Jun Fukuyama, the rest of the cast will be reprising their roles as well. Check out the announcement trailer below:

The actors and actresses reprising their roles are:
- Hero (or so they refer to him in the trailer) will be portrayed by Jun Fukuyama
- Anne Takamaki will be portrayed by Nana Mizuki
- Ryuji Sakamoto will be portrayed by Mamoru Miyano
- Morgana will be portrayed by Ikue Oya
- Yusuke Kitagawa will be portrayed by Tomokazu Sugita
- Makoto Niijima will be portrayed by Rina Sato
- Futaba Sakura will be portrayed by Aoi Yūki
- Haru Okumura will be portrayed by Haruka Tomatsu
- Goro Akechi will be portrayed by Soichiro Hoshi
